ELijahs TruthThe Elijah’s Truth Foundation is excited to celebrate the opening of its first sober living facility for women.

Happy’s House is a safe landing for up to six women as they continue on their road to recovery.

The newly renovated Happy’s House features a spacious living area, eat-in kitchen, formal dining and meeting room, three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a waterproofed basement with recreation area and laundry facility.

Happy’s House supports the recovery process with a live-in house manager, in-house 12-step meetings, and weekly random drug testing.

Peer-to-peer recovery is the process embraced at Happy’s House, which will be fully furnished, and wi-fi and cable will be available for residents.

The Elijah’s Truth Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, was founded in 2015 by Rose Marie Muhl. When Rose was forced to leave her teaching job, at Wadsworth central intermediate, of 27 years due to the long-term, life altering effects of a brain tumor, she felt hopeless and lost. Teaching had been more than just a career for her; it was her passion!

Through her journey to discover a new purpose, she found a cause that spoke to her. She is compelled and driven to help those struggling with Substance Abuse Disorder. She has poured her life savings into the creation and growth of Elijah’s Truth. The foundation currently owns two houses, and Rose has spent countless hours lovingly restoring them to make them beautiful havens for those in need. She took something forgotten and dilapidated and turned it into a serene and safe place for those in recovery.

Join Elijah’s Truth on Feb. 13  from 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. to celebrate this joyous milestone with our “Loads of Love” Open House.

“Load up your donations, and come view the home, eat delicious snacks, and meet Rose to learn more about this organization bringing hope and change to our area,” Happy’s House says in a news release.

The open house kicks off at 11 a.m, with a special dedication/memorial service to dedicate the home in loving memory of Nicole Paolucci who recently lost her life to addiction.
