FireworksIf you say there’s nothing to do this weekend, I say you’re crazy! The trouble about this weekend will be trying to figure out how much you can squeeze in 🙂

Friday night is the MatchStick 5K/10K race in Wadsworth. If you’re aren’t running in it, come out and line the route so cheer on the racers. The race begins at 8 p.m. from Art Wright Stadium. Park at Wadsworth High School and a shuttle will take you to the field.

At the drive in theatre in Wadsworth, Jurassic World and Pitch Perfect 2 are playing. Speaking of movies, there are several outdoor movies showing on Friday and Saturday. The Louisville Public Library will screen the Spongebob Movie on Friday night and Memorial Park in Hartville will show Paddington on Saturday. More info: http://bit.ly/1QQ83ai.

There’s also the Food Truck Frenzy on the Circle in Copley from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday. At Copley Circle on Sunday, enjoy a performance by “Voices of Ohio” at 7 p.m.

At Lowe’s on Saturday, kids can build a Captain America Motorcycle at the Build and Grow Clinic. Pre-registration is required. It takes place Saturday at 10 a.m.

It’s the free Strawberry Jelly-Jamboree at the J.M. Smucker Company Store in Orrville. You can meet Slider or the Pillsbury Doughboy, enjoy live music, strawberry desserts, caricatures and more. It’s from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday. Details: http://bit.ly/1BGX9SF.

There’s also a Small Animal and Exotics Expo in Cleveland on Sunday from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. It include mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, supplies, and crafts. Details: http://rabpetexpo.weebly.com/.

It’s also the Canton Pet Expo, complete with more than 30 booths with everything you need to take care of your four-legged friend. You can learn about new products, peruse pet services, see pet costume shows and so much more. It happens Sunday from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Cost is $5 per family. A free family event before the Fairlawn fireworks show, with a bounce house, face painting, crafts, games, music, hot dogs, popcorn and drinks. Fireworks will blast off at night.
