Wadsworth Grizzly pawThe Wadsworth Varsity Baseball team continues to climb the ladder in this week’s poll from the Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association.
The Grizzlies are now listed in fourth place in Division One in the latest poll. Last week, Wadsworth was 7th.

The number one team in the state in Division One, according to the coaches poll is Cincinnati Moeller. In the second spot is Walsh Jesuit. In third is Perrysburg. Then comes the Grizzlies. Wadsworth is the only team in the top four with an undefeated record at 16-0. Cincinnati Moeller is 18-2, Walsh Jesuit is 16-1 and Perrysburg is 16-1-1.

The draw has finally been completed in the Division One Hudson District.

Wadsworth is seeded first in the 13-team Hudson District. Walsh Jesuit is seeded second and Hudson third.

The Grizzlies first game in the state tournament will be on Wednesday May 13th at Wadsworth High School beginning at 4:30. The Grizzlies will face the winner of the Ellet/Copley game which will be played on Tuesday May 12th at Copley High School.
