Wadsworth Police have identified two Copley residents who they believe borrowed $5,100 worth of DVDs and books from the Wadsworth Public Library and never returned them.

Wadsworth Authorities did not release the names of those involved because no charges have been filed at this time. The case will be presented to the Medina County Grand Jury in another week.

Earlier this year, Library officials notified Wadsworth Police that a woman had checked out 138 items and did not return them when they were due. Attempts to contact the woman were unsuccessful and her phone had been disconnected. Wadsworth Police tracked down the woman and then the two Copley residents.

Police believe the motive behind the incident was to resell the DVDs at second-hand video stores.
