More road construction is taking place in Wadsworth this week. The asphalt resurfacing contractor, hired by the city, is busy milling, or grinding, the old asphalt off a number of Wadsworth Streets before new pavement is put down.

Among the streets being worked on are Highland Avenue, between Farr and Good; Woodland Avenue, between Farr and Good; West North Street between High and Lake Street; Wadsworth Road, between College Street and Carol Way; and Broad Street, between Lyman and the Eastern City Limits.

After the milling is completed, repairs to the pavement base will be made. Once the repairs are made, new asphalt will be put down.

The entire process will take a few weeks to complete.
