Durling Park re-opens after addition of pickleball courts – Wadsworth Community Radio

An exciting addition to the community was celebrated this week with a ribbon cutting dedication at Durling Park on Sept. 4, 2024. New tennis and pickleball courts are now open and in full swing.

Several speakers attended the event including Mayor Robin Laubaugh, Safety Director Matthew Hiscock, and Wadsworth Women’s Tennis League President Mauri OBrodo, who highlighted the vital role of recreation in bringing us all together.

In a heartwarming surprise, the Wadsworth Pickleball Club honored Nancy Bedillion for her unwavering advocacy for the pickleball community in Wadsworth.

“Your passion and commitment does not go unnoticed, Nancy!” the city said in a social media post.
