Wadsworth alum and Notre Dame tight end Mitchell Evans made a big announcement earlier this week.
Evans is foregoing his 5th year of eligibility in college and has declared himself eligible for the NFL Draft.
He made the announcement on his Instagram page while thanking his coaches and teammates, the university, his family and friends.
“I will be declaring for the 2025 NFL Draft to pursue my lifelong dream. All glory to God and Go Irish!” the last lines of his post read.
Evans played 45 games for the Fighting Irish, catching 77 passes for 903 yards and five touchdowns.
