Superintendent Dr. Andy Hill reported on Friday around 8:30 a.m., due to a major heating system leak, there is no heat in the building, and school is canceled today (Friday, Jan. 23) at Wadsworth Intermediate School.
Wadsworth Intermediate School is a new building that opened this school year, making this the first winter the facility has been in use.
District officials say crews are working to diagnose and fix the issue as quickly as possible.
Students already on buses can be picked up at the school after 9 a.m.
