Two separate crashes in northeast Ohio have claimed lives this week.

In Hudson, one person was killed in a three-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning on Route 91 near Hines Hill Road. The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Others involved in the crash were taken to local hospitals for evaluation. The roadway was closed for about four hours while investigators worked the scene.

Meanwhile, in Medina County, a 56-year-old motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night in a crash on Route 83 near Depot Road in Harrisville Township. The Medina County Sheriff’s Office says the motorcycle traveled left of center and hit a southbound vehicle. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Both crashes remain under investigation.
