The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has unveiled its 17 performer nominees for induction in 2026.
This year’s ballot features a wide range of artists spanning rock, pop, hip-hop, R&B and alternative, reflecting what organizers call the “ever-evolving faces and sounds” of rock and roll.

Artists become eligible for nomination 25 years after the release of their first commercial recording.
Ten nominees are appearing on the ballot for the first time, including Jeff Buckley, Phil Collins, Melissa Etheridge, Lauryn Hill, INXS, New Edition, P!NK, Shakira, Luther Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan.
Nominees will now move to the ballot phase, where more than 1,200 artists, historians and music industry professionals will vote on this year’s inductees. Selection criteria include an artist’s impact on music culture, influence on other musicians and the longevity of their career.
The Class of 2026 will be announced in April. The induction ceremony is scheduled for the fall, with ticket information to be released at a later date.
