Nominees will now move to the ballot phase, where more than 1,200 artists, historians and music industry professionals will vote on this year’s inductees. Selection criteria include an artist’s impact on music culture, influence on other musicians and the longevity of their career.

The Class of 2026 will be announced in April. The induction ceremony is scheduled for the fall, with ticket information to be released at a later date.
