Some of the best women’s bowlers in the world are in northeast Ohio this week as the Professional Women’s Bowling Association closes out its 2026 season at Yorktown Lanes.
Tour Championship Week runs through August 18 and features three tournaments. Competition begins Wednesday with the Cleveland Open, followed by the Pepsi Open beginning Friday.
Then it all leads up to the season-ending PWBA Tour Championship, running Sunday through Tuesday. Just 24 bowlers will make that field, with the top five advancing to Tuesday night’s stepladder finals. The winner takes home a major title and $30,000.
There’s more than tournament hardware on the line, too. PWBA Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year honors will also be decided this week.
Yorktown Lanes has hosted the PWBA several times before, but this marks the Parma Heights bowling center’s first major championship.
