Mapleside Farms is adding a new place to eat, drink and gather in Brunswick.
The Social House is set to open in September, combining a winery, brewery and eatery inside a newly transformed section of the nearly 100-year-old farm.
The former Apple House, bakery and gift shop are being redesigned into three spaces: The Press, The Great Room and The Library.
Owners Greg and Kelly Clement say the focus will be on all things craft, including food, wine, beer, cocktails and cider. Guests will also find coffee and Mapleside’s longtime bakery favorites, with plans to serve lunch and dinner and remain open into the evening.
The owners say the goal is to give visitors another way to enjoy the farm year-round.
