Three veterans from northeast Ohio will be among the newest members of the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame.
Robert P. Madison of Cuyahoga County, Gary T. Rezabek of Medina County and De Ann M. Williams of Wayne County have been selected for the Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026.
They are among 20 veterans from across Ohio being recognized this year for their accomplishments and service after leaving the military.
Madison served in the U.S. Army, Rezabek also served in the Army, and Williams served in both the Army and Navy.
Unlike an honor based solely on military service, the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame recognizes what veterans have accomplished after their time in uniform. Honorees have made contributions in areas including public service, education, veteran advocacy, technology, volunteer work, law enforcement and community leadership.
The 2026 class represents 14 Ohio counties and four branches of the military.
This year’s induction ceremony will be held Nov. 12 at 10 a.m. at the Ohio Union on the campus of Ohio State University in Columbus. The ceremony is open to the public.
The new class will join more than 1,000 Ohio veterans inducted into the Hall of Fame since it was established in 1992.
