After more than 80 years in business and four generations of family ownership, Flesher Sand and Gravel is preparing to close its doors for good.
The longtime Norton business announced it will permanently close on Nov. 25, 2026, as owner Jim prepares for retirement.
In a message to customers, the Flesher family acknowledged the difficult decision while expressing gratitude for the community’s support over the decades.
“While the decision to shut down has been difficult, we are so grateful for the opportunity to serve you and be a part of the Norton community,” the family shared.
The business also thanked generations of customers for their loyalty, friendship and trust in its products and services.
Flesher Sand and Gravel will remain open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Nov. 25.
