After three years in a historic home near Copley Circle, Velvet Vintage Boutique is packing up and preparing for a fresh start in Norton.

The women-owned boutique closed its Copley location at 1463 South Cleveland-Massillon Road on October 25. The charming, two-story green house, built in 1882, is slated for demolition.

The owners say leaving the building, which has been home to their business and countless memories, has been heartbreaking.

But there’s a new chapter ahead!

Velvet Vintage has secured a new location at 3120 Wadsworth Road in Norton, formerly home to the Robert Neal Gallery.

Known for its eclectic mix of vintage designer clothing, retro accessories, furniture, funky home décor and local artwork, the boutique hopes to bring the same nostalgic, one-of-a-kind shopping experience to its new space.

The owners say they’re already getting to work transforming the building and are excited to welcome customers back.

In announcing the move, Velvet Vintage thanked the community for three years of support, saying Copley will always hold a special place in their hearts.

An official grand opening date hasn’t been announced. Customers can follow Velvet Vintage Boutique on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
