Customers of CityLink might not be able to enjoy the programs on the AMC Networks after the first of the year.

The National Cable Television Cooperative, which represents CityLink and other cable providers, is currently in negotiations with AMC Networks. Their current agreement expires on Dec. 31.

AMC is requiring that cable providers add BBC America, BBC World and Sundance to their expanded basic tier. AMC is also asking for a 350% fee increase. AMC is the network that airs “The Walking Dead.” Until a digital conversion for CityLink takes place, officials say there’s no room to add more networks to the expanded basic tier.
