Cleveland Clinic is expanding its Saturday surgery and procedure schedule at several Northeast Ohio locations.
Beginning this month, the Cole Eye Institute at Cleveland Clinic’s main campus will offer certain eye procedures on Saturdays. Medina Hospital, Marymount Hospital and the Marymount Ambulatory Surgery Center will also begin offering weekend elective outpatient orthopedic surgeries and procedures.
The expansion is part of a broader effort to make appointments and procedures easier for patients to schedule around work, school and family obligations.
Cleveland Clinic began adding more evening and weekend specialty appointments in 2025 and later expanded Saturday surgeries at several regional hospitals and its main campus.
Since those weekend surgery hours were introduced, care teams have performed nearly 1,600 Saturday cases. Endoscopies and chronic pain treatments have been among the most common weekend procedures.
The health system also says it added more than 33,000 specialty appointment slots between July 2025 and May 2026.
Cleveland Clinic continues to offer in-person and virtual visits, along with urgent, express and emergency care seven days a week.
