Ohio is getting a piece of the Olympics.
Columbus has been selected to host nine soccer matches during the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, bringing international competition to Lower.com Field.
The city will host eight men’s and women’s group stage games, along with a men’s quarterfinal on July 20, 2028.
It also marks a major milestone, the first time Olympic events will be held in Ohio.
