Light Up The Living Dead – Zombies + Paint Ball experience is Saturday at Mapleside Farms in Brunswick.

Or, come out to Lodi’s Nightmare In The Wilderness — a scary affair perfect for the serious Halloween lover who appreciates the horror of taking a half-mile hayride before being dropped off into a scary wilderness where bugs are the least of worries.

Beriswill’s Farm Market & Corn Maze in Valley City – Enjoy this family fun farm with two corn mazes, a petting zoo, a corn filled sandbox pick-a-pumpkin and playgrounds. There are also plenty of games and hayrides on the weekends.

The Wild, Wild West is coming to Mapleside Farms on October 24 and 25. Take a step back in time as you explore the old frontier days when you loaded the kids into a covered wagon for a trip to the village. Anyone who has ever wished to be a Cowboy or Cowgirl is encouraged to wear their full cow- riding get-up. Hats are a must, but boot spurs are optional.

Fall-o-Ween kicks off at the Medina Square on Saturday noon – 7 p.m. There will be crafts and games on the square, a pet parade and contest, plus a human parade and contest, and trick-or-treat.

On Saturday from 4-6 pm, Hinckley businesses and residents will be greeting trick-or-treaters along the sidewalks in Hinckley at Ridge Road and Rt. 303. There will be games, fire trucks, race cars, candy, pumpkin bowling, candy and ice cream.

Join the Medina County SPCA for its 3rd Annual Paws for the Cause 5K Walk/Run and 1-Mile Fun Run in Medina Square on Saturday. Registration begins at 7:45 and the race starts at 9 a.m. The proceeds will directly benefit the abused, neglected and injured animals that the Medina County SPCA works so diligently throughout the year to protect. Bring your pet and walk or run your favorite distance!

Trains, planes and all things that go will be on display at the Medina County Community Center on Saturday from 10-4. Medina Railroad & Toy Show will feature scenic operating layouts, train sets on display and for sale.

Enjoy a story with your family while walking along the Cherry Lane Trail of the F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm in Akron. Afterward, stop by the campfire for some hot chocolate and a treat. It all happens Sunday from 1-3.

The Erhart/York Township Fire Station is hosting a Craft Show on Saturday from 10-3. Come check out all of the artistic crafters and participate in the Chinese auction; or purchase a raffle tickets for the “Giant Christmas Stocking”. Fresh baked goods, lunch and beverages available for purchase also.
