The Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Medina Post is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that happened Friday morning in Hinckley Township.

Troopers say the crash occurred around 9:46 a.m. at the intersection of State Road and State Route 303. A Ford Fusion, driven by Halley Woodward, 40, of South Euclid, was traveling north on State Road when it failed to yield at a stop sign while turning onto Route 303. The car was then struck by a Chevrolet Colorado traveling east.

Woodward was transported from the scene by EMS and later pronounced dead at Brunswick Medical Center. Investigators say she was wearing a seat belt at the time.

The pickup truck was driven by Mathew Bigadza, 41, who suffered minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital. He was also wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation.
