Female farmers in Medina, Cuyahoga and surrounding counties are invited to attend a series of workshops called Annie’s Project, a program designed to strengthen women’s roles in modern farm enterprises, help them network with other farm women, and learn how to manage, market, and grow their businesses.
Annie’s Project focuses on five broad aspects of farm risk management typical in an agricultural setting: human, financial, marketing, production, and legal.
The workshops will be held Thursday evenings from 5:30 – 9 p.m., for six consecutive weeks beginning April 16 through May 21. The classes begin with a hot meal. The workshops will rotate locations between two facilities: A. I. Root Candle Company, 623 W. Liberty St. in Medina and the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds, 19201 East Bagley Rd. in Middleburg Hts.
Cost per person is $75 and space being limited to 25 people. The registration deadline is April 8.
