A former Wadsworth bowler was killed in a motorcycle crash in Wadsworth on Oct. 8 around 9 p.m.

Cooper Wrobel, 23, was driving his motorcycle along I-76 eastbound when he drove off the left side of the highway near Route 57 and into the center median. The motorcycle flipped and Wrobel was ejected into oncoming traffic.

Authorities closed down the highway and westbound on ramp from Route 94 to the interstate.

Wrobel was pronounced dead at the scene.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Cooper’s family and friends.
