A great story from The Akron Beacon Journal. Wadsworth sophomore quarterback Brysen Hall is already making noise on the field, and his journey goes back to 2017, when he was just nine years old serving as a ballboy for then-Grizzly star and Ohio’s Mr. Football, Joey Baughman.
That early mentorship clearly stuck.
Hall threw for more than 2,100 yards and 22 touchdowns as a freshman and opened this season with four touchdown passes in just a quarter and a half against Barberton.
Hall still looks up to Baughman and now hopes to inspire the next generation the same way.
