Wadsworth dog park organizers say they’re looking to open their doors for four-legged friends and owners in early to mid August.
Entrance gates being on back order – along with all the rain we’ve seen – have delayed the opening. Organizer Roni Leatherman says the street department poured concrete for the water fountains Wednesday. Concrete will be poured on Saturday for the park entrances.
“We appreciate everyone’s patience as we are just as anxious to open it as you are,” Leatherman posted on Facebook. “We will be announcing a grand opening toward the end of July.”
