The Wadsworth Grizzlies have a new football coach. His name is Justin Todd.
This past year, Todd was head coach at Mount Vernon. From 2012 to 2014, Todd was head coach at Loudonville High School. High School football fame may remember the 2014 Loudonville team that Todd coached. The offense averaged 46.9 points per game and it played in the Division VI, Region 19 championship game. Those numbers earned Justin Todd Associated Press High School Coach of the Year.
He will be recommended to the Wadsworth School Board to replace Greg Dennison, who resigned at the end of the 2015 season. In 21 years as head coach of the Grizzlies, Dennison had a record of 148-77.
Todd is a graduate of the University of Mount Union.
