State Route 94, between the Wayne County line and Greenhaven Lane in Wadsworth Township, is closed because of an embankment slide.
Recent heavy rains have washed away the eastern portion of the road.
ODOT crews are working to make the necessary repairs to stabilize the road.
No time estimate has been given as to when the repairs will be made and the road opened.
The detour route for southbound motorists: Route 94 to I-76 west to State Route 57 south to State Route 604 east to SR 94. The detour is reverse for northbound motorists.
