More than 500 student athletes from across northeast Ohio will gather at the IX Center in Cleveland on Friday, April 10 for the Dru Joyce – Unified Sports Experience.
Now in its third year, the event brings together students of all abilities for a day of inclusive basketball as part of the Dru Joyce Classic.
Sixteen schools will participate, along with Special Olympics Ohio programming and coaches from the Cleveland Cavaliers Youth Academy, all focused on promoting inclusion, teamwork, and community through sport.
Doors open at 9:15 a.m., with competition beginning at 10 a.m. Community members are encouraged to attend.
