A Medina County man wanted in connection with a 2020 fatal crash has been arrested after authorities say he spent six years on the run.
The U.S. Marshals Service says 56-year-old David Sawicki, formerly of Homer Township, was wanted on aggravated vehicular homicide and DUI charges.
Investigators say a tip from the public led them to a Cleveland medical facility, where Sawicki had checked in for treatment.
Authorities believe he fled Ohio after being charged and had ties to Florida and Arizona.
