Medina County CAN! is a group of Medina County leaders, officials, Chambers, Economic Development and the Visitors Bureau working together to bring business to Medina County during the 2016 National Republican Convention (RNC) in July of 2016.
The first and most important piece of information to Medina County businesses is the website www.2016CLE.com. For any business or company to receive business from the RNC, you must be listed on the RNC Supplier List. To be included on this list, go to the website (www.2016CLE.com), click ‘become a supplier’, fill out the information and submit the form for approval by the RNC. That is all it takes to be on the master list.
The supplier list will include restaurants, attractions, hotels, service, dining, meeting facilities, florists, candies, shoe repair, etc. Please take the time to submit your business and help put Medina County on the supplier list.
Medina County CAN! is also looking at ways to draw visitors to our hotels, restaurants, meeting facilities, shopping, attractions and other venues. Medina County was showcased along with other counties at the 2015 RNC Summer Meeting in Cleveland where we were able to bring information to attendees from across the nation. Medina County CAN! will continue to work on bringing RNC business dollars to Medina County.
For anyone interested in volunteering at the RNC, go to www.2016CLE.com and click on ‘volunteer’. Applications are being accepted now. As many as 8,000 or more volunteers will be needed and as of two weeks ago, 2,000 volunteers have signed up.
