A Medina man apparently took his hunt for Pokémon cards a little too far.
Police tell Fox 8 News 72-year-old Kent Kubasta secretly placed a GPS tracker on a delivery driver’s vehicle so he could find out where and when Pokémon card shipments were being delivered.
The driver discovered the tracker in June and contacted Wooster police. Kubasta later admitted using it to follow the deliveries and has now pleaded no contest to illegal use of a tracking device.
The case comes as Pokémon cards remain a hot collectible, with some stores drawing long lines whenever new shipments arrive.
Maybe he was trying “to catch them all.”
