A brand new downtown Wadsworth business will soon be opening its doors.

New World Spice and Tea Traders, located at 138 Main Street, is planning its grand opening for the October First Friday event (Oct. 7).

They will feature teas, spice blends, sauces, oils and vinegars.

Owners Doyle and Sonia Mullins are excited to open for business.

“We will have loose leaf teas by the ounce, about 100 varieties, more than 120 seasonal spice blends on a rotating basis, hard to source spices like saffron, vanilla bean and extreme heat chili peppers and hot sauces,” said Sonia in a social media post. “We will also have specialty food gifts and accessories and 30 varieties of flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars.”

New World Spice and Tea Traders will be open Monday – Saturday 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

“We are working with the county to retrofit the space to have prepared teas, hot chocolates, and iced teas. We won’t do seating because that completely changes what the county would have us include.”

As a tea enthusiast myself, I cannot wait for this wonderful place to open!
