police lightsThe Wadsworth Police Department wants to alert residents about another round of car break-ins that have taken place in the city. The latest round of thefts took place in the Bayberry Estates Subdivision.

Authorities have also taken theft reports from the East Bergey and Sparrow Road area. Wadsworth Police say the only information they have about a possible suspect is a tall, thin male dressed in all black.

Multiple vehicles were entered in these areas.

If you have any information about these break-ins or any other car break-ins that have occurred in the last month, contact Wadsworth Police at 330-334-1511.

Police are asking car owners to please lock your vehicle, even if you park it in your driveway or in front of your house. The suspect(s) are concentrating on unlocked vehicles and are taking mainly cash or gift cards.

Wadsworth Police are stepping up bike and foot patrols in an effort to catch those responsible. Most of the thefts occur between midnight and five o’clock in the morning.
