At Monday night’s Economic Development Committee meeting of Wadsworth City Council it was announced that Rise and Grind, located next to Mosaic Church on High Street in Wadsworth, will be closing at the of January.
But, the space will re-open in March as a coffee house to be operated by Mosaic Church.
During February, the church plans to remodel the interior. It’s believed the new name of the space will be King’s Street Cafe.
Mosaic Church has launched an interest form and pledge form.
Rise and Grind opened its doors in July 2020 with former councilman Bob Titus as the owner. Titus then sold it to the current owners, Sean and Stephanie Miller of Valley City, in March 2022.
