Wadsworth attorney Sean Hutson has been appointed to represent Ohio’s 66th House District, which covers a large portion of Medina County, including the cities of Medina and Wadsworth.
The Ohio House of Representatives appointed Hutson to the seat Wednesday. He succeeds Sharon Ray, who left the legislature and is now serving as Medina County Recorder.

Hutson is a former assistant prosecuting attorney for Medina County and currently practices law in the areas of real estate, business law and estate planning. He has also worked at the federal level and in higher education at Heidelberg University.

“I am honored to be appointed to represent the residents of the 66th District,” Hutson said, adding that he looks forward to working with residents and fellow lawmakers.
