Ohio is Googling Shedeur Sanders more than any other sports star this year.
New research from AskGamblers found the Cleveland Browns quarterback is the most searched athlete in Ohio so far in 2026, with around 165,000 Google searches per month in the state.
And Ohio isn’t alone. Sanders tops the athlete search rankings in eight states altogether, including Georgia and Colorado, helping make him one of the most Googled sports personalities in the country.
Nationally, Sanders is averaging more than 2.4 million searches per month, putting him ahead of huge names including Aaron Rodgers, Travis Kelce, Caitlin Clark and Anthony Edwards.
The Ohio interest makes plenty of sense, with Sanders now playing quarterback for the Browns and drawing plenty of attention around Cleveland and beyond.
Only one athlete ranks above him nationwide: LeBron James. The Ohio-born NBA superstar is the most Googled sports star in America overall, averaging roughly 2.45 million searches per month and taking the top spot in 20 states.
