Coffee giant Starbucks has found a great way to dispose of its leftover foods: donate them to charity.
The company is planning to give its unsold food to people in need saying instead of throwing out its unsold perishable food items, it will be to donated to food banks.
The Starbucks FoodShare program is a partnership with the Feeding America food bank network and the Food Donation Connection.
The program was inspired by baristas who argued for giving the food to those in need instead of letting it go to waste.
