The State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio (STRS) has launched a new online information hub designed to provide clear, factual answers about the state’s teacher pension fund.
The new resource, called The Source, offers straightforward explanations on topics commonly asked about by STRS Ohio members, retirees and stakeholders. Those topics include benefit changes, the State Teachers Retirement Board, system investments, operating expenses and other pension-related questions.
STRS Ohio says the site is designed to be easy to navigate and will continue to grow with updated information and additional topics of interest.
Executive Director Steve Toole says the goal is to provide accessible answers about what is happening at STRS Ohio, calling the site part of the system’s commitment to transparency and open communication.
