Taste of Wadsworth 2015 winners

Thousands of people packed downtown Wadsworth on Wednesday for the annual Taste of Wadsworth event put on by Downtown Wadsworth, Inc.

More than 20 food vendors set up around the square enticing customers with their variety of tasty treats.

Taste of Wadsworth-goers purchased tickets and then used the tickets to indulge in delicious food and desserts. At the end of the night, tickets were counted and winners were selected based on number of tickets in each vendors basket. Winners were announced first on Wadsworth Community Radio 97.1FM on Thursday morning in a variety of categories.

1^st place: Papa John’s

1^st place: Zydeco Bistro
2^nd place: Willard’s Fries
3^rd place: Dough’s Nub

Restaurant:
1^st place: Tailgators
2^nd place: Valley Cafe
3^rd place: Giant Eagle

The popular event brought in $16,000.
