SUB STATION FIREWhen a fire ripped through the uninsured eatery, The Sub Station, its owners were at a loss. But through various campaigns and other means, The Sub Station announced on its Facebook page that they are going to be able to reopen.

“We wish to thank all of you who have supported us over these last few months of difficult times, we couldn’t have done it without all the prayers, donations and support from everyone!” the post read in part.

The owners of the eatery hope to have The Sub Station back open for business by October, though the time frame isn’t set in stone.

Due to the damage and cost from the March blaze in the historic downtown district building, The Sub Station owners said they will be reopening in a new Wadsworth location nearby its former location.

“We will be right up the road at High Street between Bicksler Electric and the new Crossroads church!” the Facebook post continued in part. “We look forward to our new adventure and hope you will spread the word!”

Are you looking forward to The Sub Station’s grand re-opening? We sure are here at Wadsworth Community Radio!
