It’s Founders Day in Wadsworth this weekend. St. Mark’s Church is where everything kicks off from Saturday at 9 a.m. There will be time capsules buried, sidewalk sales, ghost walks and more. The ghost walk happens Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m. and costs $3.

Saturday is also the grand opening of Wadsworth’s dog park inside Valley View Park. The ceremony begins at 3 p.m. at 618 West Street.

Don’t forget about the American Legion pig roast Friday from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. and again from 4 p.m. until the pig runs out on Friday. It’s outside of Wadsworth American Legion Post 170 and costs just $5 for lunch and $8 for dinner. It includes three sides and dessert.

It’s Affair on the Square in Medina this weekend. The craft fest is Sunday from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on the square in Medina. More than 100 vendors will be participating.

National Bowling Day is Saturday. You can bowl for free at participating AMF Lanes from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Each bowling alley will have giveaways and fun surprises! Find an AMF near you: http://nationalbowlingday.com/.

Get out and play in historic Downtown Hartville on Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. for a day of fun and games for kids – and kids at heart. Downtown Hartville will turn into a giant playspace with touch-a-trucks, dance party, I Spy games and more. Details: http://bit.ly/1IqPkAe.

The Medina County Fair, Twins Day Festival in Twinsburg and Akron’s National Hamburger Festival run through Sunday.
