Spring brings new beginnings, and for Norton mom of three, Jackie Koncz, that means celebrating one month with her new heart! Jackie continues to grow stronger, and her medical team remains optimistic about her progress.After being discharged on March 17, Jackie has settled into her temporary home in Nashville, where she is focusing on recovery. She was welcomed with love by her husband, mom and dad, who all helped ease the transition after five long weeks in the hospital.
Follow-up appointments have shown promising results, and the support of family, friends, and prayers continues to fuel Jackie’s journey—beat after beat.
Meanwhile, her children have been doing well in Norton and were so excited to see their mom this week for a spring break reunion, bringing their family of five back together.
To allow Jackie and her family the time they need to adjust, loved ones are asked to refrain from calls and texts for now. Continued positive thoughts and prayers are appreciated as she continues this incredible journey.
