For the second time in four years, the Wadsworth Boys Varsity Tennis Team are overall champions of the Suburban League’s National Conference.
On Friday at the La Tuccie Tennis Center in Stow, the Grizzlies captured two singles championships and added a doubles crown to finish with37 points, two ahead of Hudson and four points head of Twinsburg.
T.J. Lockwood won the second singles Championship and Demetri Laikos won the third singles crown. Wadsworth first singles player Carter Moore lost in the finals to Marco Nesic in three sets.
In doubles, Seniors Beau Casey and William Virgin won the second doubles championship. In first doubles, Noah Porter and Sam Hanna finished in third.
The Wadsworth Boys tennis team will point towards to the State Tournament which begins on May 6th.
