The annual Christmas Tree Collection in the city of Wadsworth will take place during the weeks of December 29th and January 5th.
You are asked to place your “real” Christmas Tree on the curb on your normal collection day, at least 3-feet from your trash cart. The Street Department will be by sometime during the day to pick it up. Please remove all lights and decorations from the Christmas tree before placing it on the curb or it will not be picked up.
The trees will be recycled by a local company that will use them for mulch or compost.
Homeowners are asked to be patient in having the trees Christmas picked up. The process could be delayed if Street Department crews have to deal with snow and ice.
