Wadsworth football pep rally Friday for rivalry game against Medina

Main Street Wadsworth is hosting a pep rally downtown on Sept. 6 to cheer on the Wadsworth Grizzlies Football team as they are escorted to Art Wright Stadium for the Rivalry Game – Wadsworth Grizzlies vs. Medina Bees.

There will be a police escort as the buses leave the high school at 5 p.m. and travel down Broad Street and through downtown to the Stadium.

You’re encouraged to show your school spirit with signs, Grizzly apparel and a great turn out!

After you cheer on the team, spend some time downtown as we celebrate September First Friday: Rivalry Game – Wadsworth Grizzlies vs. Medina Bees from 5:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Brush Tips Art Studio is having a sign painting party tonight (Sept. 5) between 6-8 p.m. for everyone who wants to make a sign for the football team. The cost is $5 per sign with all supplies included.

The Wadsworth Public Library is getting involved too. You can make a poster for Wadsworth Grizzlies Football team between 2-5 p.m. on Friday (Sept. 6) to create posters before lining the streets to cheer on the team!
