Wadsworth community members will soon get their first look inside the brand-new Wadsworth Intermediate School. The district will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 14, followed by self-guided tours of the building until 8 p.m.
The new facility, located at 675 Broad Street, will serve grades 5 and 6 and replaces the century-old Central Intermediate School. Construction was made possible through a bond and levy approved by voters in Nov. 2021.
Students will begin classes in the new school on Aug. 21, and later this year, the campus will welcome the addition of a brand-new performing arts center.
Residents are encouraged to attend, tour the state-of-the-art spaces, and celebrate this new chapter in Wadsworth’s educational history!
