Wadsworth has a new top cop. Dave Dorland was officially sworn in as Police Chief Monday morning by Mayor Robin Laubaugh.
Chief Dorland brings 31 years of experience with the department and steps into the role with strong support — including fellow officers, neighboring departments, and former Chief Dan Chafin, who now serves as the city’s Director of Public Safety.
Congratulations to Chief Dorland as he begins this next chapter of leadership in Wadsworth.
