The 2017 Wadsworth Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign surpassed its $60,000 goal. Lieutenant Mark Baggs says the campaign brought in $66,800. Plus. Lieutenant Baggs says they hope to raise another $10,000 through private sources. A big push in the last few days before Christmas helped to put the Red Kettle Campaign over the top.
The dollars raised in Wadsworth will stay here in Wadsworth. Last year, the Salvation Amy helped 310 families in Wadsworth.
