In preparation for the opening of the new intermediate school in August 2025, the Wadsworth School Board has requested a proposal to sell Central Intermediate School.

The District’s goal for the site is preservation and rehabilitation of the current building, in some
capacity, with a priority on the preservation of the OJ Work Auditorium, as a community landmark for the City of Wadsworth.

The property and building is listed at more than $3.7 million and those interested in the property have until Dec. 20 at 4 p.m. to submit the proper paperwork. It must include proposed plans for the property and a timeline.

Requirements for the potential purchase – and all other details – can be found here: https://wadsworthcommunityradio.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/RFP-CentralIntermediateSchool22363837_2.pdf
