Wadsworth wrestler Jaxon Joy set two new records over the weekend during the Wadsworth Sectional Tournament. Jaxon won his 180th wrestling match during his 4-year career with the Grizzlies, setting a new Wadsworth High School and Medina County record!
Congratulations to junior kicker and wrestler Jack Dinwiddie for reaching the 100 win landmark in wrestling over the weekend at the OHSAA Sectional Tournament at Wadsworth. The Wadsworth wrestling team finished 1st out of 10 teams in the Wadsworth Sectional. The Grizzlies will send 13 wrestlers and 1 alternate to the District meet at Hoover High School next weekend. “Our wrestling team did an excellent job overall winning the sectional tournament, the multi-sport football players competed at a very high level with EACH earning a trip to the District tournament this weekend at North Canton Hoover,” said head football coach Justin Todd.

Congratulations to Wadsworth swimmer Maddy Schnelzer! Maddy placed 9th out of 16 swimmers in the 100 Butterfly finals at the OHSAA State Swimming Championships in Canton over the weekend.
In the Wheelchair Basketball Sectionals, Perry defeated Wadsworth 16-10. That ends the Grizzlies season.
