Wadsworth’s Ella Bard, 13, is following in her mom’s footsteps, helping make the community of Wadsworth a better place with her spirit, athleticism and love for the planet.

And it’s been noticed!

Ella has been chosen as one of the top 5 national finalists for The SheBelieves Hero award. An elite panel of former U.S. Women’s National Team Olympic and World Cup veterans selected the five finalists that fans can now vote on to choose as the 2021 SheBelieves Hero.

Finalists were chosen who embody the SheBelieves spirit of leadership, empowerment, inclusion and positivity.

“We need to get all friends, family, neighbors, aquaintances, friends of friends, teachers, coaches, and basically everybody to vote for her!” proud mom, Debbie Bard, wrote on social media.

Ella is a passionate eco-warrior volunteering with community clean-up and recycling efforts. She
also empowers others to use their minds and the wisdom of their bodies through yoga and guided meditation.
